Graduate Student, IGERT Fellow, NSF Fellow
I began doctoral studies in the Defect Lab in August 2015. The global necessity for economically viable, sustainable energy sources motivates my research in perovskite-based solar cells and my interest in energy policy. In May 2014 I graduated from ASU with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and minor in Arabic Studies, and my post-baccalaureate research involved the development of biocompatible gold nanoparticle-based sensors. In my free time, I enjoy rock climbing, Argentine tango, and talking politics.
