Dr. Tine Uberg Nærland

Dr. Tine Uberg Nærland

Postdoctoral Associate

Tine joined the Defect Lab in April 2015. Her background is from chemistry and material science with specialization within functional materials involving electro-chemistry, ceramics, semiconductor technology and solid state physics. Her research has been on characterization of solar grade silicon and at ASU she will continue her research within material defects and microscopic properties of silicon. Her research is motivated by the necessity of developing clean and sustainable energy solutions and she is also interested in extending her research activity into other renewable energy technologies in addition to PV. In addition to saving the world Tine likes to run, eat and drink.
