In December 2012, I joined the newly established Defect Lab —before we even had a laboratory space. Prior to joining this ambitious team, I studied Physics (with a side of Mathematics and Atmospheric Science) at the University at Albany in New York. I am excited to currently be working on developing and characterizing low-temperature contact formation methods for thermally sensitive devices, such as high efficiency solar cells. Outside of the lab, I like to indulge in copious amounts of coffee, chocolate, and tea. And when I have the chance, I love to get lost in the clouds, mountains, and canyons of this beautiful desert.
