Temperature-controlled stage

LinkamThe Linkam T-stage can be connected to a various range of optical and electrical characterization tools and enables the user to do both high and low temperature measurements on the probed sample in the -196 – +600C range. The instrument incorporates four gold-tipped tungsten probes for electrical contact and a quartz top window for light reflection measurement; moreover it can be flushed with different inert gases to control the atmosphere. The sample is simply placed on the heating element and the probes moved manually to make contact at the appropriate points. This system can also be used vertically.

The heating/freezing stage is typically used in combination with: Raman and photoluminescence spectrometry, ellipsometry, capacitance voltage or current-voltage characterization tools.
